We start our cruise along the Canal Ring (UNESCO World Heritage List), and from there, off we go. Since 2021 we cruise in an incredibly special boat, namely the 1928 former Dutch govern boat which was used by heads of state, mayors, and the Dutch royal family. The boat is intimate and comfortable; 100% electric, with sliding windows, a sunroof, open aft deck, heating, and toilet on board (a luxury). In short: the most ideal boat to explore the canals. I giggly recommend this boat tour over any of the big companies. Captain Dave does a great job telling you about Amsterdam and answering questions. He does not use a script like the big boats. They had coffee, tea, juice and croissants on board. We had 10 people on board but could maybe hold 16. Did not feel crowded. Boat has been converted to all electric. So very quiet. A must for visitors to Amsterdam
