Your children will be enthralled as your guide brings history to life with intriguing anecdotes about many of the famous British historical figures who are either buried or commemorated here The Abbey has been the site for the coronation of all English and British monarchs since that of William the Conqueror in 1066, and is the final resting place of 17 kings and queens as well as notable figures such as Isaac Newton, Edward the Confessor, Charles Dickens, Geoffrey Chaucer, Dr. Samuel Johnson and Charles Darwin. The clock was the largest in the world when it was installed in the middle of the nineteenth century, and is still the largest in Great Britain!

    You will then head towards the final stage of your tour, St. James's Park. The park has been at the centre of the country's royal and ceremonial life for more than four hundred years, and is surrounded by some of the city's most famous landmarks including Buckingham Palace, St James's Palace and Westminster. It is also a place where you can enjoy a little peace and tranquility, away from the hustle and bustle which is typical of a city as big as London, and a stroll through its idyllic greenery.
